Mike Kavanagh has been involved with horses since early childhood. He grew up helping run his family's boarding stable in north St Louis Mo. Over the years he's ridden and trained a large variety of horses. He's started and shown horses in many disciplines, but his passion lies with ranch and cow horse events, especially team roping.
Mike is a founder of the Missouri Ranch Horse Association, an affiliate of the American Ranch Horse Association.
